‘In May 2022, I founded Ace4Rail GmbH in Basel-Stadt to bring modern and pioneering rolling stock to the railway market. I am delighted to have found an exceptional core team who shares the vision of realising the leasing of modern passenger trains to operators throughout Europe. Each of them brings extensive expertise from different areas, which complement each other perfectly and thus form the basis for our joint success.
After starting my career in transport planning and development aid, I joined Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) in 2008. During fourteen years as part of the rail vehicle ownership team, I took on various roles such as the specification of passenger-relevant vehicle requirements and overall project management for the procurement of rolling stock.
The experience gained during this time formed the basis for the vision of ace4rail. In the meantime, the team has brought the vehicle concept to development maturity and developed discussions with potential launch customers, service providers and investors. There is also a wide network of supporters, without whom ace4rail would not have made it this far. I would like to thank them all from the bottom of my heart. These relationships need to be nurtured and developed further. Together, we are working passionately to develop innovative solutions."
